Libyan oil production saw a marked improvement during the first quarter of the year.
Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced a significant increase in oil production rates during the first quarter of this year, following the resumption of operations at several previously shut-down oil fields and ports. The NOC stated that average daily production exceeded 1.2 million barrels, the highest level recorded in several years.
The relevant authorities confirmed that this improvement is the result of joint efforts to enhance stability and support the infrastructure of the energy sector, which contributes to supporting the national economy and improving the state’s public revenues.
