In a statement published today, Sunday, on the Telegram app, the Qassam Brigades said:

“Israel has crossed all red lines by assassinating our leaders and our people, and its aggression continues,” she added. “Our right to respond is guaranteed, and we have the right to defend ourselves.”
The brigades also announced the appointment of a new commander for the military manufacturing unit, succeeding Raed Saad

The statement continued:

“Israel has ignored Trump’s plan, and the US president and mediators must bear the responsibility.”
Earlier today, Khalil al-Hayya, Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip and its chief negotiator, stated that Israel's assassination of Raed Saad threatens the "survival of the ceasefire agreement" in the Strip. Israeli Prime Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called on US President Donald Trump to compel Israel to implement the terms of the agreement and prevent its collapse.

In a recorded address, Ali Noah confirmed the news of Raed Saad's death, describing him as the most prominent Hamas leader to be assassinated since the ceasefire came into effect.
